Please don't use the word "stud" when talking about Jon Lester.

Dirty Kash has like 18 posts, and almost all of them involve bashing or downplaying the talent of Red Sox players.

He must be A-Rod's boyfriend.

The Cubs have had a ton of injuires to star players. The A's have had their share of injuires to important players throughout the year. Those are just a few teams that come to mind.

The Yankees have had just as many problems this season. Papi's heart is fine according to doctors. Lester could have a problem, but just as likely doesn't.

Yankees that have missed a large number of games.
Cano for 32 Games
Matsui has played 32 games
Sheff has played 30 games
Pavano hasn't pitched at all this season

not to put down what those guys are going through but I have to say the Cubs are by far unluckier. How many seasons have they banked on Wood and Prior only for each of them to go down with injuries..and different onces each time.

That's not unlucky. That's unprepared, and poor management.

The sox have it pretty bad, Tek, Lester, Wake, Wells, Clement, and now Ortiz, Manny and Lester going through injury problems. But that's baseball. Lots of teams battle injuries and fall out of contention. Yanks just happen to have the tools (players and cash) to cover for them.
