It really does make baseball feel useless when you hear about something like this.

Can anyone with medical knowledge tell me what this is? By treatable do they mean it can be cured?

I really don't care if he throws another pitch, I just want him to live normal the rest of his life really, though with him going right from high school to pitching It would be sorta tough for him to make a living?
