I play for sporting news, where A-Rod is ranked 78th overall. He's hitting .216 with 1 home run and 8 RBI the past 15 games. He is on pace to hit .279 with 112 runs, 33 home runs, 117 RBI & 14 SB. I am starting to doubt that I would even take him in the 1st round anymore. Players I would take above A-Rod next year...
Soriano
Pujols
Beltran
Santana
Reyes
Crawford
Guerrero
Hafner
Ortiz
Howard
Ramriez
Cabrera
& maybe Utley, Wright & Tejada.
Thats 12-15 solid picks that I think will outperform A-Rod.
I am going to SELL him as a 1st round pick next year; in my book anyway.

I'll sell, but still think most will take him in the first.

He is the youngest player to ever EVER hit 450 home runs.
I'll take him. Plus he's never injured
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

I'm selling all the way, with a bit of explanation.
Chances are, someone is willing to overpay for him.
In some leagues, he'll go #2 overall. In most leagues, he won't last past #7 or #8 because someone thinks that he'll rebound back to his 2005 numbers.
Now, he may hit 40 HR's and drive in 125+ next year. Maybe not.
But, I don't believe in gambling with 1st round picks. And there are several guys who are much safer picks than him.
I would put him at about a late 1st round/early 2nd round value. But someone picking before me will almost certainly take him before then.
