Greatest Seasons Ever

Postby mdHARRIS » Wed Aug 30, 2006 5:08 pm

Anyone recall seeing a CBS article, or some site, that discussed the greatest fantasy baseball seasons ever?
I used to have it bookmarked, but now I can't locate it.

I remember being astounded at Ricky Henderson's stat line from 1985:

.314 24 HR 72 RBI 146 R 99 BB 80 SB

If you can get me a link I'd appreciate it...

I know which link you're talking about but I couldn't find it. I also remember Roberto Alomar's 1999 being on it:

.323, 138 runs, 24 Hr, 120 rbi, 37 SB.

That is a great season for sure. Every time I look at it, it just amazes me the numbers he put up.

Couple of Pedro's seasons were ridiculous as well.
