Has anyone tried the Sam Adams Imperial Stout?

Hit BevMo last week with my parents coming to town... I picked up eight different IPAs (three six packs and five 22s).

So far, I've had:
Bear Republic Racer IPA - Excellent
Firestone Union Jack IPA - Really good (plus a bear and a lion on the label! )
Lagunitas IPA - What's better than excellent? I think this one might be my favorite.
Shipyard Fuggles IPA - This one was just good. I bought it because I've had a bunch of other Shipyard stuff during my work trips to Maine so I wanted to try it.
Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA - Really good
Pizza Port Wipeout IPA - Excellent

I think I'm forgetting one... Something from Colorado... Oh well.

Also tried the ReaperAle Sleighor Double IPA a few weeks back and that was pretty good as well. I think I was drinking that when I was putting my TV up on the wall. It may have set me back awhile.

Has anyone tried the Sam Adams Imperial Stout?

Don't think so. I got a 24 beer gift pack of six different kinds of Sam Adams beer a couple of Christmases ago and the only stout it had was the cream stout. The other five beers were the regular lager, Old Fezziwig, the porter, a lambic, and I forget the other one (think it was either Oktoberfest or a Belgian ale).

As far as Guinness goes, the brew in the bottle is fine. However, I tend to drink only the Extra Stout bottles instead of the regular draught ones, but sometimes I head to a bar that only has Guinness in a bottle (a travesty, I know) and it'll do. The one in the can is pretty disgusting IMO. I've only had the canned Guinness a couple of times and from what I could recall, I thought the brew was watered down significantly.

Anyone try the Delirium Nocturnum, either the dark or lighter versions? That's what I've been drinking lately and they are awesome.

I think we were supposed to swap some stouts but I choked on coming through with the KBS because it's hard to get even around here in West Michigan.

i'll check next time i'm at my beer store and if they have it i'll send you one...i definately remember seeing the Breakfast Stout but is there also a Kentucky Breakfast Stout that's different
