yeah i just didnt feel like quoting it...i'm not a huge wheat beer fan anyway (i dont necessarily dislike them, there's just other beers i prefer more) but adding the BL name to it doesnt impress me

Have you tried it? I didn't put my expectations up too high, but I do like my wheats and was pleasantly surprised how easy it went down and had a very nice citrus taste to it, even if it was a bit too fizzy.
BL Golden Wheat was alright I guess. I feel about how ORS does about it. It'll sell because it's cheap, light and accessible, but I'll be drinking better wheat beers instead.

I couldn't stand that stuff and couldn't finish the bottle. Wife liked it though. Anything with fruit, besides citrus, is just nasty to me.
Has anyone heard of something called Sheefs(sp?) Stout? Not sure how to spell it, but this is what I was told, that it was really good, top 50, from Australia, but is hard to find.

Beers with fruit tend to be too strong on the fruit....even if the ABV is pretty high. Cherry beers especially.

One of the tastiest beers i've ever had in my life. Only found one bar here in LA that serves it (The Griffin) and I stumpled upon it quite by accident. It's in the creme beer family but its not as dark as say a Guniess is.
If you find this beer, do not pass up the opportunity to try it.
