I couldn't agree more. If Crosby could ever actually stay on the field, he would be a fine player. He just can't stay off of the DL though.

Something that surprises me about Tuly is that he's really big. 6'3 205 at age 21. Also, if you look at him he has a large frame and has yet to fill out. I think when that happens the power numbers could really explode in a few years. I personally think he'll fill out to a simlar body type as AROD, not prediciting that same offensive numbers obviously, but 6'3 225lbs sounds about right in his prime.

Though he obviously isn't ready for the majors yet. Hasn't hit a ball into the OF yet, and only one hit so far, with a bunch of Ks.

But let's remember... he was only drafted in 2005, and has only played one year of pro ball. I think this will be good experience for him in the majors. He's going to be involved in one of the winter leagues as well, and if he puts up a good Spring should be the Rockies opening day SS. If not, he can go to AAA for a few months or whatever and then come up.

His one hit was kind of weak, too. A laser hit right to Reyes that caught him off-balance and kind of made him stumble. The ball was hit hard, but it wasn't a pretty or solid hit.

Well most infield hits aren't "pretty", but he smoked that ball. Just happened to be right at Reyes, but I think he'll take it.

I think you can judge how well a player is going to adjust to the bigs based on how well he adjusts initially. It's not like Tulowitzki was getting unlucky, he was being dominated by pitchers who haven't really dominated major league hitters much this year.

Still, there's a lot more Tulo to see this month. He could go on to make the necessary changes to be ready to start for Colorado in 2008. My original comments pertained to his value as a fantasy addition for 2006, which I am still sticking to. Troy Tulowitzki is not going to be an impact player in most formats from here on out.
