I drafted Atkins and had Wright and Arod as keepers.

I dropped atkins cause I had Wright and Arod

Then I traded Wright

And then Arod starts slumping all year.

Wright has more points then both of them this year.

I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Yeh i started with Blalock but have been using Derosa, Huff, Encarnacion and lately Bill Hall. Just trying to ride the hot hand.

A-Rpd and Wright have been good compared to other players, but they have failed to measure up to expectations.

No love for Casey Blake huh? Even with time missed due to injuries:

297 at bats: .303 - 16 - 51 - with 46 runs and 6 steals.

Was one of my sleeper picks this year. Got him in round 19 of a 13 team league where 3B flew off the boards way, way too early.

I've used Eddy Enc and DeRosa while Blake's missed time, so the combined stats of those three when they have been in my lineup has been very nice.

Combined line of when they were actually in my lineup (meaning this is the stat line my fantasy team actually cashed in on so far this year from them):

Blake: 275 at bats - .309 - 15 - 49 - 43 - 6
Eddy: 64 at bats - .328 - 1 - 8 - 13 - 0
DeRo: 89 at bats - .303 - 4 - 20 - 15 - 1

Combined: .310 average, 20 homers, 77 RBI, 71 runs, and 7 steals. Not amazingly great or anything like that, but not bad at all when none of them cost more than a 19th round draft pick in a 13 team league. B-)

I don't think Blake qualifies at third base this year.

He does at Yahoo, but not at Sportsline.

3B is still VERY deep. Look at some potential future studs: Gordon, Upton, Stewart, Marte, LaRoche, Guzman, Braun.

So your league only plays until the all-star break?

:-?

All players go through slumps some at the beginning of the season, some in the middle of the season and some at the end of the season.

Your way of thinking, seems to suggest that only guys who are hot pre-all star break are worth having on your team....

Mike Lowell, anyone? He seems to have shaken off that disastrous 2005 season, batting .288 with 16 ding-dongs. ;-D
