it's nice when putting up a .279BA, 89R, 26HR, 93RBI, 11SB season (with a few weeks left to go) is your worst season of your career

I figured you'd say that, but in a thread talking about depth, it's only fair....

In real life terms, Arod isn't playing too shabby. In fantasy land, he sucks. I don't want my #1 or #2 pick with these kind of numbers. He's a bust considering where the man was drafted.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Not deep?

What about the guys you conveniently missed?
Cabrera
Rolen
Hall
Ramirez
Glauss
Figgins
Cuddyer
Arod
Wright

And I would not have put Chipper on the bad list even wih the injuries. He's done great when he played.

So the 9 above plus your 5 plus Chipper makes 15. I would say that is pretty deep. Even if you take away Glauss, Figgins, and Hall to play more demanding positions, that still leaves 12. Add Mora and a few others who have done ok, but not as well as their draft position and you still have plenty of decent 3b options.
