he's saying, that in a redraft league on Yahoo, the flippin' O-rank plays a big factor in where a player is taken... so if O-rank puts him at 20, then there is very little chance the player will make it past the 3rd round, but if they are O-ranked in the 200's, then they could be good late round steals.
Does this make sense? No.
Will it happen? yes.
Why? Because quite a few people do not redo their rankings from scratch, and instead just modify the rankings slightly.

Personally none of those guys will be on my team next year. One of the important things to havre a list for every year are guys who have a injury danger level that is too high for warranting a draft pick for a certain round.

I always categorize the players into injury levels and while it doesn't always work, more often than not I end up with healthier teams. Derrek Lee had a fluke injury and Pedro Martinez was a bit unexpected, but other than those two stars my guys have been mostly healthy.

What league would have Harden, Felix and Sheets fall to the 8-9th round? Do you play in a 4 team league? Sexson in the 11th? LOL

Of those, I think I Hernandez is a very good pick there (lots of upside at that level), and I'd probably also like Crisp and Sexon. Sheets, Harden, Colon are all solid picks there, but there will probably be other guys who can give you similar value. Cantu I don't really like much at all (I avoided him this year like I'm avoiding Ethier next year), and I think this year is a better reflection of his talent than 2005. Prior is a complete tossup, and I really will want to have more information before I consider where to draft him.

I agree with this. Most of the pichers I don't even want but if they fall to me after the 7th or 8th I'll take them. Just too much risk when you can find WW guys breaking out. After looking again, in the auto draft yahoo I do every year it will be better for me to remove these guys then have to move then around.

Most of these players a major risks at this point. A guess, but based on a 10 team 5x5 Roto league:


- Brad Lidge (round 13-16)
- Rich Harden (round 12-16)
- Mark Buehrle (round 15-16)
- Felix Hernandez (Round 11-12)
- Richie Sexson (round 8-11)
- Jorge Cantu (round 13-14)
- Bartolo Colon (round 12-15)
- Coco Crisp (round 19-20)
- Ben Sheets (round 14-16)
- Mark Prior (round 15-20)

Personally, I would avoid-list Harden, Sheets and Prior. The Triage Trio are not worth dealing with unless they fall to the end of the draft.

Sexson, Colon and Buehrle have now proven to be unreliable players and while they should not be avoided, you should probably make sure you only draft them if they fall quite a bit. Sexson is likely to still go way too early imo.

King Flop is still too hyped and should not be drafted anywhere near the top 10 rounds imo. Someone will grab him though. Let them.
