So I was looking at David Wright's poor performance since he joined my team (~break for simplicity's sake) and I found out this other stat line too.
David Wright Post All-Star Break
22 R, 2 HR, 17 RBI, 4 SB, .241 avg, 331 obp and a 358 slg!!!!
Tru Post All-Star Break
22 R, 9 HR, 25 RBI, 0 SB and .293 avg, 362 and a 567 slg!!!!!
Someone please again convince me why I traded for Wright? I was in 3rd and am now in last since I made said trade. (It's not all his fault, but a LOT of it is)

Because he's one of the best young players in all of baseball? If you're team is tanking because of one guy, then i'm willing to wager that it was probably playing over it's head in the first half of the season.
I don't know, but "Tru" was on an abandoned team that gave me more competition than it should have last week, thusly knocking me out of the playoffs for the time being.
I don't like him. He sucks, but when he doesn't, he doesn't suck against me.
Tru is normally a 2nd half hitter anyway. Back when he was wearing Dodger Blue, it was the same cycle for the last couple of years leading to 2004. Beltre normally makes up for a disappointing first half where the whole town berates him for his slumps and then bang, he makes you forget about it with a positively torrid second half.
After all, Tru, as one of the Major League scouts said, has one of the sweetest swings in the game.
his roid shipment seems to have finally arrived. must've been on the same UPS truck as peavy's contact lenses. im telling you, these rich atheletes need to pay extra for Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air, instead of going for free ground shipping. cheapskates..
This cracks me up every season!
It is amazing to me that you guys can never figure this out. It is not like other posters haven't talked about it till we were blue in the face, because we have. So I guess you all just choose to ignore the facts at hand and explain away what you fail to understand by pointing the steriod finger. Feel free. ...
But here, I wil try again ...
Adrian Beltre (Tru) is a 2nd half player, always has been always will be. I have personally pulled him off the wire in two or three leagues, rightafter their managers dropped him at the allstar break .... THIS Year!
You guys never learn ... its fricking hilarious.
all I have to say is thank you for your .. hmm whats a good word here .. Stubborness.
