Anyone know where I can find info regarding who the cream of the crop is regarding FA's for next year.
Just wondering because as a Sox fan we are already out of it. Maybe next year they will spend some money and pick up some quality FA and actually try and win another World Series.
They obviously have the money to spend, with the amount of revenue they make over a season.
The Yankees arent shy about spending money. The difference in payroll from the yankees to the red sox is about $100,000,000.
Which is more than the combined payrolls of all but like 6 teams in the majors.
Whats the difference if next year we are in 2nd in payroll with $190,000,000. Then maybe we could win a game.
Anyone wanna make a guess as to who the sox bring in over the offseason via trade or signing.
so unless they some how move Clement (which is very unlikely), they shouldn't sign another SP that will most likley have trouble against AL East offense.

Actually Wakefield is going to be a FA according to the website.
Wakefield will have a team option every year, as long as the Red Sox picks up his team option from year before, so they are most likely keep him

I'm hearing some grumblings about Matsuzaka but I'm still not sure why Seibu will post him since he won't be a free agent until after 08. But he could be an interesting pitcher if he does become available.
