manny injury concern? (looking for updates)

yo guys, sorry this isn't an update. but i'm a manny owner and with playoffs just around the corner im wondering if you guys know if the missing playing time this week is something to worry about. will manny come around soon? or is this nagging for the rest of the season?

The tendonitis will likely continue to be a nagging problem the rest of the season as it has been all year. So it is something to worry about, but there's not much you can do. He's put up solid numbers despite having the problem all year, so it's really a matter of whether or not it worsens, or if it flares up again at the wrong time for us fantasy owners, i.e. during the playoffs.

There is nothing structurally wrong with the knee as you may already know from the MRI results the other day. Francona said today that they are hoping that a couple days off will help. Going foward, it's real simple for those like us who own him: you will have to check the lineups before game time to see if he is in the lineup.

Manager Terry Francona indicated Monday that Manny Ramirez (knee) might not play in the three-game series against the A's.

"I don’t think we’ll see Manny, at best, until we get back to Boston," said Francona, referring to Thursday’s series opener against the Blue Jays at Fenway Park. "The hard thing from his side is that he feels good until he runs." Eric Hinske and Carlos Pena could be fixtures in the lineup for now.

Well, Manny, Papi and WilyMo flew back to Boston today to see specialists, and the Sox are trying to deal Wells which to me looks like waving the white flag.
If not a DL stint, I would expect Manny and Ortiz to get a lot of rest in the upcoming month.

in my h2h 18 team league, this is the final week of the regular season. i am currently up 8-1, but its only wednesday. without manny, i will be in a rough place...my playoff hopes may be dashed without him.

in the meantime i was able to nab delmon young to replace him, so i might be ok if this kid can continue.

manram, plz be ok...maybe he can dh while ortiz is out
