AL East all stars vs. AL Central all stars...who would win?

1B - Jason Giambi
2B - Robinson Cano
3B - Alex Rodriguez
SS - Miguel Tejada (maybe DJ, completely diff players)
LF - Manny Ramirez
CF - Vernon Wells
RF - Carl Crawford (need a leadoff hitter, im sure he could play right)
DH - David Ortiz

SP - Roy Halladay, Curt Schilling, Mike Mussina, Scott Kazmir, Chien Ming Wang
RP - BJ Ryan, Jonathan Papelbon, Mariano Rivera (along with various other middle relief)




AL Central -

C - Joe Mauer
1B - Justin Morneu
2B - Taduhito Iguchi
3B - Joe Crede
SS - Carlos Guillen
LF - Magglio Ordonez
CF - Grady Sizemore
RF - Jermaine Dye
DH - Travis Hafner or Jim Thome, too close to call


SP - Johan Santana, Fransico Liriano, Jose Contreras, C.C. Sabathia, Justin Verlander
RP - Joel Zumaya, Joe Nathan, Bobby Jenks (among other inning eaters)


i still think AL...FAR superior offense, SP is about even and RP is better.

Well, considering every All-Star game has to include at least 1 player from every team. This time I think KC's Teahen actually deserves to play.

I thought that we established that this would be a series? If Teahen deserves to play, Johnny Damon sure as hell does too...

5 game series which means 5 starters

Its the best players from each division, NOT every team has to be represented

it would be like a regular team, where the best players start and bench players rarely see time, not like an all star game in which they try to get everyone playing time. the point is to win.
