He snagged 2 SB's today to bring his total to 34 to go along with 41 homeruns..

Now with 36 games to go I believe he's a lock for 50 Homers and if he is even close to 50-50 Frank Robinson is gonna give him the green light to run whenever he's on base...

I believe he will be the consensus #2 overall player in every draft to Pujols...Possibly the #1 player if he signs somewhere where he plays 2B.

Well, 50-50 will be straight up ridiculous.

But, Soriano has been caught 13 times. Sounds like a lot to me, imho. I'd bet most definetely of course he'll get 40-40, but 50-50 I wouldn't bet on it.

If he got 50-50, jeez.. that'd be better then Pujols about. Though, his average probably won't be the same next year, 50-50 would be straight up crazy.

Well, the argument a week ago was would he get 40-40. Thats pretty much a lock IMO, as he is stealing evertime he is on base. I also see 50-40 as a very likely possibilty. I dont see Soriano getting to 50 steals, possibly 45 at most.

That being said, if he does somehow manage to get 50, i cant see how he wouldnt be the number 1 overall pick.

Wow that was a mistake but to be honest I too thought Soriano would have a bad year this year. And never, ever, could I have envisioned him doing what he is doing now. He's going to get a fat contract this offseason.

If he goes 50-50, he just might be the #1 pick next year.

That being said, I don't find it likely that he'll get 50 steals. I think that 50-45 is a more likely finish.

Even if he did go 50 50 this year I wouldn't make him the choice over Prince Albert. Since he would be the first to do it this yera, what are the chances he'd do it next year?

He wont reach 50 sb. Stealing 16 bags in 34 games is hard to do.
