The Rockies could have had him for Ray "Burger" King and they didn't pull the trigger.

*shakes head* Taveras is better than what we're throwing out in CF everyday, though I'm glad Spilbourghs finally gets the chance to play everyday.

What was the hype around him, none of his stats were overly impressive, and for a younger guy like Taveras i'd do it in a hearbeat.

There was no hype around King, I really have no clue why they didn't get rid of him. Some teams actually wanted him :-[ I would have unloaded him for about anything.

King is hardly used anymore either (good thing). Maybe they can get rid of him in a waiver deal.
