Wade Miller

Any updates on Wade Miller? I saw that he was expected to come of the 60 day DL over the last couple of days, and haven't come across any news about how he was doing.

I am trying to choose who to pickup between him and Trachshel as both are double starts, and if Miller is healthy, I'd like to go with him.

This is my crappy 2 cents worth from CBS Sportsline:

Fellow rookie Angel Guzman (0-3, 9.15 ERA) is expected to make his sixth start Wednesday. If he was to pitch in relief Tuesday, Cubs manager Dusty Baker said Wade Miller (shoulder) could have come off the 60-day DL to start. Miller is supposed to pitch a rehab start for Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday.

Miller could return in Fantasy Week 22 (Aug. 28-Sept. 3) as a two-start pitcher. He would be a sleeper in deeper NL-only formats in his return from years of shoulder woes. Track his news through the weekend before finalizing a decision on him.

For those interested, it looks like Wade Miller may not pitch until next saturday, making him not a two starter, and thus not a great pickup for me this week.

If anyone comes across reports about his rehab, feel free to post, because I may still be interested in picking him up later.
