I know how to put an end to this nonsense.

I just picked him up.

The end is near.

And to think... :-? Someone in the waiver/trade/keeper forum recommended I drop him about a month ago to get some of my players off of the DL....yeah, I'm happy I dumped Kenny Rogers.

wow this kid is on fire.

His ERA with the Sox last year was 27.00. Guess that just goes to show you how easy it is to pitch in the NL :-b

2 more scoreless innings this afternoon. This sets the new Padres record for consecutive scoreless innings. ;-D

I could use more holds through the playoffs. But I'm not gonna touch him. I'm superstitious. The streak will end the day he touches my roster.

Meredith had himself a fine 2005 in AA Portland getting 9 saves in 12 games, when he was promoted to AAA Pawtucket. Five days after that he was promoted to The Show. He struggled, was sent back to AAA a week later, and continued to struggle. Things were going just the same for him this season in AAA where he sported an ERA over 5 at the time of the trade.

Good for Cla and my fantasy teams hope he can keep it up, but this has come out of left field for sure...

Man I can't believe this kid is still going. But I have one question, if his scoreless streak extends into next year, will we get that BS like last year with Jimmy Rollins's streak? I am just assuming that Orel did it over a single season.

You can add another scoreless inning and two-thirds to his total now.

I believe that's 33.2 now. :-)
