What your seeing is not an anomally it's the real A-Slob. Will always post great numbers but will bring his team down a peg I hate to say it cuz i hate the yankees with a passion but here goes. A-Slob can't carry Jeter's jock! Jeter is the driving force of that team and always has been.

none of what you just said makes any sense whatsoever...

Sorry dude. Here try this one on. A-Slob sucks.

If you're a Red Sox fan I'm ashamed. I'm from Boston and hate the Yanks but can still see thru that and realize that Arod was the top fantasy player coming in. He's having an atypical down year and I was just asking why. Didn't ask for any trash talking about how much he sucks. Even if he can't deliver the hit in the 9th inning (no Big Papi mentality), his RBIs in the 1st-8th inning still help my fantasy team. So you can draft Mike Lowell over Arod if you want but I'd rather see Arod get 10RBIs and lose to the Sox 12-10.

I suppose its the "in" thing to hate on arod nowadays.

But enough about that, what about benching the guy? I hate to say it, but im real close to benching him. My team doesnt exactly bat for high average and he's not helping much. I need more production from my 1st rounder.

Then again, ive seen some pretty hateful Teix posts all over here. I guess i cant complain too much in the end.

yeah, I guess you can bench him. his 100+ runs, 30+ hrs, 100+ rbis, 15sb, and .280ba pace is pretty subpar

Yeah.

He's producing fantasy numbers like a 4th round pick this year.

4th round players are still pretty darn good.

Of course, if you have him on your team you aren't getting good value for your pick or salary cap $$. Nothing you can do except knock him down in your rankings for next year.

The Marlins and the Royals love A-Rod. Revenue sharing is awesome. Let's not forget Pavano's juicy contract

I have Glauss on my bench. I'm tempted to switch him with A-Rod.

It's sad, I'm starting BILL HALL @ 3rd base over A-Rod right now... He has a doubleheader but he would kill my points team if he gets 6 or 7 k's today :-o

I`m real interested to see where he drafts next year, We are a $$$ league and he went for 4.90 out of a 26.00 payroll. Is it worth taking the chance on him if he stays in NY?
I actually feel bad for the guy. It must be prety tough psychologically. The $$$ he is making can do nothing for him at the moment.

Bench A-Rod tomorrow--he's going up against Bonderman.

Play him against Carlos Silva the next game, though. But definitely bench him against Johann Santana.
