I just came to give you props on that. Nice work.

Yeah, I feel like Bones is the UFC equivalent to a highly regarded pitching prospect in that they want to bring him along slowly. At this point, though, he's too impressive to keep fighting down in the middle tier of light heavies. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say
I can't wait for his next fight. Dana said he'd definitely be fighting a top 8 guy...
Me neither, and I think there's a good chance we see him fight again before the year is over. I want to see him get tested though, so far Hamill, Vera and Matyushenko, while good fighters are all on the same tier.
I don't think Jones is ready for the to 4 LHW (Rua, Machida, Rampage and Rashad) although I think if he fights Rashad he would win, but that fight won't happen any time soon since both train under Greg Jackson.
That leaves, Griffin, Franklin, Couture, LIl Nog, Bader and Thiago.
The UFC will not allow Griffin to get embarrassed by Jones and they said they'll handle Bader and Jones like they handle Cain and JDS, only matching them if they are fighting for the belt.
Couture and Franklin would be great names to add to Jones resume, but maybe both are looking for a bigger name to catapult them into the title contention.
Lil Nog is fighting Bader so the only high profile name that's left is Thiago.
Assuming Thiago is healthy that would be an awesome fight, Thiago is a BJJ BB and he will not be afraid to exchange with Jones. If he is able to dominate Thiago the way he has his other opponents, then Rampage or Nog would be next with a possible shot at the belt by this time next year.
