I know you're on the Bones bandwagon, but I can't tell which direction you're leaning...
I don't think Jones could beat Machida just yet, but if he continues to develop, I think he definitely has a shot sometime down the road. He's only 22 and has limited MMA experience, which is pretty scary considering what he's been able to accomplish up to this point...

Evans is going to get KTFO by Rampage later this year.
Nice win by JDS too. He has some serious knockout power.
Probably won't be buying UFC 109 either. Coleman vs. Randy? No, thanks. There are some interesting fights on that card though. It's too bad we won't get to see Kos vs. Thiago, but Swick as a replacement isn't bad at all.
Vitor Belfort is injured (shoulder) and off #UFC 112 title fight with Anderson Silva. Confirmed by @danawhite More details to come.
I don't know if Sonnen would be ready by then, but hIs medical suspension shouldn't matter since the fight is in Abu Dhabi. Akiyama is also available. Worst case scenario he moves up to LHW and fights Couture? that fight would sell I guess.
I bet Marquardt is kicking himself right about now.

Sonnen will never be ready for Silva. There are half a dozen other 205 I'd rather see him fight than Randy "The Bore" Couture.

Yes and yes, although Sonnen really impressed me in the Marquardt fight. I thought he'd get his ass handed to him. How can a guy get so dominated by Maia then 2 fights later beat up on the dude that knocked Maia out in 20 seconds? What a wacky sport...
Oh, and the Belfort injury sucks big time...

I agree, but every legit LHW has an upcoming fight. Rashad/Rampage, Machida/Rua, Forrest/Lil Nog. Not to mention that Thiago had back problems so who knows how healthy he is. In any case White said AS will fight at UFC 112 and it will be at 185.
I'm sure everyone knows this by now, Maia was the replacement for Vitor. As long as Maia can take the fight to the ground, he has a chance, but even then, AS is no slouch on the ground, so it should be interesting. Also, Maia striking is far more aggressive than Leites, so I don't think this fight will be anything like AS/Leites.
