Fluke.
11-0 with none of his fights going past the 1st ain't a fluke. I don't care who you're fighting, if you stop everyone in the first you've got skills.
I'm 11-0 in head-to-head battles against my girlfriend in Guitar Hero.
This was the first time Carwin actually faced a good fighter, although Gonzaga is almost as overrated as Carwin, and Carwin didn't look that great. He got rocked and Gonzaga failed to capitalize on it. Junior do Santos would have no pity on this guy. Amazinz boy Cro Cop would have no trouble with Carwin either. But because the HW division isn't as deep as the other divisions, Carwin will be hyped.
I don't mean to mince words but I think it's more appropriate to say that this is the first time Carwin has faced an elite fighter. He's faced some very good fighters relatively and has blown through them more importantly. Maybe Gonzo has a suspect jaw but when someone can generate that much power without full extension I won't call it fluke. Not going to crown him elite yet but definitely looking forward to finding out.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Right. Good job 'gheying' up this thread.

Totally. And how bout how he generated that much power after already being rocked. Like I said earlier...

Is he an elite fighter? Not at all, but I agree with Amazinz, I look forward to finding out.
When you beat you're gf at Guitar Hero do you get up in her face flexing like, "pwned biotch."

Looks like Rampage can't make the fight due to how soon it is so we're getting Evans v. Machida and then Rampage vs. the winner of the fight.

Bad news for the Light Heavyweight division. Machida will reign supreme for a long time.
