Did you guys watch the weigh-ins? Hilarious. Gono gave Fitch his afro-wig and he wore it for the staredown.
Also, did you guys hear about the Rock? He said he has a 2-movie contract to fulfill and then he's going into the UFC. Not sure why he'd give up making movies. Has to be a lot more money in it than in MMA currently. Also, say what you want about Lesnar but he had been training hardcore for 3 years before he had that first fight in StrikeForce. Not sure about the Rock. Still can't wait to see it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I probably won't be around right after the fight (in case I lose the bet). I will most likely sleep over where I'm watching. I'll be around after church, hopefully to gloat a little bit.

Georges St-Pierrevs. BJ Penn: Hard to root against either guy (although BJ has been doing a lot of trash talking) and even harder to pick the winner. The longer the fight goes the better chance that GSP has of winning.
Lyoto Machida vs. Thiago Silva: The battle of the undefeated, I think Machida wins by submission, Silva is very dangerous, but he can be a bit reckless and Machida will capitalize. White has said that if Machida wins he will get a shot at the title and no way does Machida lose after waiting so long.
Stephan Bonnar vs. Jon Jones: I think this fight goes the distance with Bonnar getting the decision.
Karo Parisyan vs. Dong Hyun Kim: Don’t like Karo that much so I’m hoping Kim can continue his undefeated streak and gets the KO.
Nate Diaz vs. Clay Guida: The key to this fight will be if Guida can keep the fight on their feet and how much punishment can Nate take, we all know that Guida is relentless, but if at any point the fight goes to the ground, look for Nate to get the triangle choke and the victory.
Preliminary Card
Jon Fitch vs. Akihiro Gono: Hard to imagine that a loss to GSP means going to the under card, but that’s what Fitch has to go through. Gono is extremely tough so this won’t be an easy fight. Fitch takes it via decision.
Thiago Tavares vs. Manvel Gamburyan: Tavares wins by KO, the only chance Manny has is if he can lay and pray his way to a decision like he did when he was on TUF.
