Chuck Liddel is on the cover of ESPN The Magazine. There's also a link to sherdog.com under the "More +" menu option. Nice step in the right direction to giving MMA the coverage it deserves.

In a real fight you also have to avoid chokes, hits to the nuts, being poked in the eye, being bitten, stabbed with a knife, etc. Boxers never win street fights, the big gloves always get in the way.

So who does everyone have for Saturday? I'm going to go out on a limb and pick Liddell by KO in the 3rd. I'm still convinced Liddel had a leg injury in their first fight.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I definitely wouldn't bet on this fight. But if you haven't seen it and you watch it, watch Chuck's leg work. He had a leg injury when he went into this fight and I personally believe it played a huge part in his loss.

Randy picked Rampage last night on the UFC pre-fight show, and he's had a ridiculus (85% or so) sucess rate in picking winners.
That being said, I still have to take Chuck. Rampage doesn't look nearly as dangerous at this lighter weight (he looks much smaller than his PRIDE fighting weight).
Randy has done well. Not to knock him but he has had his share of luck. Like picking Gonzaga by submission and then winning that match by LHK. Part of me thinks he would pick anyone over Chuck. Not that Rampage is a bad pick. He can beat anyone in the class when he's on but Randy chose Babalu over Chuck as well.
Edit: Also, Randy and Rampage are at times training partners so that might play into it as well.

My prediction: a quick ref stoppage and a controversial win for Liddell. Sets up for a rematch.
I'm not buying this PPV. UFC has had a couple of disappointing shows in a row now, the last free one was just a complete bore. I sure hope that this one is better.
