Jones made it look sooo easy, too. I can't see anyone in 205 even making it a close fight. I'd love to see him ground and pound Silva at a 190 lb catchweight bout.

Yeah that's what I figured is was fellas, thanks. You'd think they would have mentioned that in the "article." But like you said though Aqua, ESPN is obviously reaching for clicks.

The LHW division is deep. No one seems to be able to keep their title for too long there. Rampage won it an only defended it once. Rashad Evans was undefeated until his first title defense. Machida was supposed be the champ for a long time and now he can't win a fight.
Jones is great, but so was Evans and Machida. I do hope he beats Evans though.

True. I remember hearing about how Lyoto was such an unsolvable puzzle. 2 Rua fights later, and he's an also ran.
I know it's not this simple, but Jones destroyed Rua, who soundly beat Machida, who embarrassed Rashad, who beat Rampage, etc. I can see Jones holding the belt for awhile. One guy who I think could be an intriguing challenger some time down the road though is a guy fighting Saturday night: Phil Davis. I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles little Nog...

I like Jones as much as the next guy but he has 8 total matches in the UFC. Silva has won 14 in a row, all against big names, defending his championship 8 straight times. He hasn't been beaten in over 6 years. That's pretty much unheard of.
If Jones makes it past Rashad, there is still Machida, Thiago Silva, Rampage and young studs like Phil Davis. There is nobody left for Silva to prove himself against.
Jones has made the LH division exciting and he is everyone's favourite but what makes him so exciting is that he still has some tests out there, it's so easy for Silva that it's gotten boring and he's now underrated because of it. When we start talking about Jones taking on Velasquez or Brock then we can compare him to Silva.
