He has 5 K's and has allowed no hits through 3 Innings. Is anyone watching this game that can give me a brief scouting report? Is his velo back up?

He's topping out at 94 and sitting on 91-92. His slider has been nasty. Looks like that's all he has up to this point. He's pitching confidently too...reminding me of '04.

Yeah, he's looking pretty good so far. Actually ooking like he has some confidence too. I might give him a shot for his next start now that Kazmir's done.

I'm not a mets fan or anything, but cbs says it's only a spot start. I'm not sure he will start next week. I hope he does. Maybe send down bannister to make room for perez when glavine comes back.

I think we are going to see more of our friend Ollie... Glavine and Pedro are going to be treated with kid gloves to get them healthy for the playoffs, especially since the Mets have pretty much wrapped up the NL East at this point.
