Jeremy Sowers, who has already thrown 168 innings this season, will likely be shut down for at least the final three weeks of the season.
Sowers threw 159 innings last year. The plan appears to be to limit him to about 180, meaning he might make just two more starts. Fausto Carmona is returning to Triple-A to work as a starter, and he'll take Sowers' place in the rotation next month.

Anybody know other young pitchers this might happen too? I hear that Felix will be limited to 200 innings this year and be shut down.

Nothing wrong with that at all imo. Maybe Sowers being shut down will signal the brining up of Adam Miller as well.
