Pop up on the first base line between home and first. Johnson tried to feild the ball and Francoeur just ran him over instead of giving him right of way which the fielder is supposed to have if fielding a ball.

Rotoworld has this too say: The Nationals are calling Nick Johnson day-to-day with a left cervical strain.
Basically, he suffered whiplash in the collision with Jeff Francoeur today. Daryle Ward figures to start at least one game in his place on Sunday.

He just cant seem to ever keep healthy for a full season (although he tried really hard this year).

Well he only missed one game, so it really wasn't much of an injury.
