With five weeks left in the season, it's possible that Kazmir will not pitch the rest of the year. Maddon said the team is going to monitor Kazmir's health and let him start pitching again when they feel it's appropriate. Kazmir added that he's hoping to get back sometime in September and possibly make three or four starts.
