Who is going to be the top callups, in terms of potential for next season and beyond??

Most september callups don't come up and effect a pennant race much but some turn out to be great players the following year (like liriano, Verlander, etc)

Just a short list...

Delmon Young
Matt Garza
Chris Young (OF)
Alex Gordon (should be interesting with Teahen's emergence)
Philip Hughes (maybe)
Andy Marte (Boone sucks in Cleveland)
Brandon Wood *babble and drool at insane power #s*

Garza and Marte have been up for a while now...

Maybe Bailey gets called u but I think Chris Young is the last stud offensive callup for the year. I just don't see Gordon, Butler, or Wood getting called up.

i wouldnt say Delmon i s definite, and the Ryals have saidGordon WILL NOT be up in Sepembe

I always forget about Delmon since he's already eligible in yahoo.

My guess is Brandon Wood will be over matched if called up. He has a huge K's issue.

Garza is already up.
Gordon will not be called up since they don't want to start the arbitration clock.
Hughes not a chance. They want to preserve him since he has had health issues. Already limiting his IP/G to 5.
Isn't Mart already up?
Wood no way. He is not close to being ready.

If Andrew Miller gets called up, then I would claim him. He is near the top on my prospect pitching list. He'll most likely pitch out of the pen so he won't help you this year but he's going to be studly.
