Pedroia worth #5 waiver?

I'm in a 12 team 5X5 roto dynasty league. I have the #5 waiver and was thinking no other big prospects will be coming up, should I grab Pedroia? If yes who should I drop?

I'd just hold on to what you have. Pedroia isn't a big fantasy prospect, he's a much better real life player. He will hit around .300, but without much power or stolen bases.

Yuniesky Betancourt hasn't played 2B all season this year, can you still use him there next season?

Pedroia, 23, has 48BB to 27K and a 810 OPS in AAA. He's one of those guys who has crazy K/BB numbers dating back to college (walked 3x as many times as he K'd his junior year at ASU).

I don't know a ton about what Pedroia's playing time will look like over the next few years, but this may be someone you want to work on fitting into your roster over Betancourt.

I think I'd go with Pedroia to back up Weeks rather than Betancourt to back up Drew.
