Movie chain AMC Entertainment Inc. said pranksters at one of its Phoenix theaters released two live diamondback rattlesnakes during a showing of the film Snakes on a Plane last Friday. However, no one was injured.
AMC spokeswoman Melanie Bell said, "One was found in the parking lot during the show, and the other in the movie theater. They were both removed, and no one was harmed."
The snakes were later released in the desert.
The movie starring Samuel L Jackson spins a yarn about a crate-load of escaped snakes that run amok on an airline flight attacking passengers and crew.
"There were kids at the show, and it was actually very reckless," Russ Johnson, the president of the Phoenix Herpetological Society said.
"The snakes' bite carries a powerful venom that could have seriously injured someone," he added.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
I would like to know how they determined someone released the snakes in the theater. I know the snakes probably aren't prevelant in town, but could it just be coincidence?
If this was intentional it is extremely stupid. Obviously someone could have been in a great deal of pain, or a small child could have been killed.
It was only a matter of time before this happened. In fact I told my girlfriend a few days ago its gonna be a problem when people start bring poisonous snakes into the theater.
But hey it was only a rattlesnake thats like the 3rd most poisonous snake in america. weak

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I bet thats a huge saying there in Texas!!
owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
PWN!!
Actually it's mostly used in situations like this. Stupid movie gives stupid idea to stupid kids who carry out the stupid idea. No one's surprised at all at this, as America is growing dumber by the minute, and garbage like this movie selling a single ticket proves that. Quite pathetic actually.
