I don't want to jinx anything but Peavy seems like he's finally returning to form of late. He pitched a beauty tonight against LA...hopefully he'll keep it up as the fantasy playoffs approach.

I think hes been back for awhile now. Too bad the owner in my league wasnt dumb enough to cut him.

He has a 2.01 ERA in his last 6 starts and is 3-2 during that span.
One of the losses was 1-0 , in the other he gave up 3H 3R in 7 innings. Career splits show Aug and Sept to be strong months, I think he's not only back on track but will pay dividends for those of us who were patient enough to keep him - or those who simply could not get fair value earlier.

I gave up Verlander/Garciaparra for Peavy/Glaus. He's been great.

Traded Dunn for Peavy and voila! -- I'm up four places in the BA standings thanks to jettisoning Dunn and his anemic .220 or .240 or whatever he's been hitting lately.

Kept Peavy on the pine for a while but now he's getting every start. He's back to 20-20 with those new contacts! }:-)
