Unless he pulls a "Brett Boone" he'll probably always be a fill type player unless he has a really high obp. Players like this don't excite most GMs because the cieling is limited. Everybody wants a MI guy who can do it all, and he's likely to always be moved around the league as teams think they have a rookie with a higher cieling... Fortunately, some teams, being smart with payroll, figure out that these guys are handy or when the highly touted rooks fail and they need a MI who can produce and get on base.

Similar to Loretta since he's hitting in the 2 hole. I wonder if Loretta is gone in the future if he would be the 2B.

Only problem with this assessment is that he is the number one (maybe two or three) rated position prospect in the organization. Epstein said he expects this kid to be starting in the MI next year.
