And yet the ever-accurate Yahoo says:

Aug 21 Gordon is scheduled to play catch on either Monday or Tuesday, but likely won't see action in any of the four games against the Chicago Cubs.

The DL stint is back-dated to Aug 13, so Gordan's eligible to come off the DL on Monday.

I'm actually OK with this, especially if Flash can come back and be as effective as he was in the first half of the season. His last couple of outings were brutal.

Nobody knows. Hopefully next week sometime.

I have Gordon, Cordero, Hoffman, and Gonzalez.

I have one more head to head week before the playoffs start.

In order to protect my overall dominance in the saves department I have picked up Dan Wheeler as a temproary replacement. I do not have a DL spot so it hurt to drop him because of the incredible month he had but Luis Gonzalez had to go bye bye for now...

The good news is that I am 99% sure I am getting a one week bye from the playoffs so I have two weeks for Gordon to make a complete recovery.

There are a lot of options for vulture saves right now, so take this oppurtunity to try and pull some extra saves in the meantime by picking up guys like Wheeler and Duchrecher(sp)
