Ok, a little background. Tom Menino, the mayor of Boston, is under constant fire from a writer called Howie Karr. Howie has this website, displaying Menino during various speeches, interviews, etc. Some of these are pretty hilarious clips, just showing the guy can't speak at all, and that he's an idiot.

I agree although I think NY and Bos both have awful accents so even as a yankees fan I can be fair.

My whole family is from NY but they have lost their accents.

Listening to yankees or boston games on the radio makes me naseus.

The local commercials are especially bad

My mother is from Brooklyn. When they lived in PA, people would ask her what country her accent was from. My dad's from Queens and they just thought he was weird for not toasting his bagels.
