Is there any chance that he will get a chance to start before the end of the season? It would be nice to see!!

I'd say it's very unlikely that Humberto Sanchez will be pitching for the Tigers this season. He went on the DL on August 4th with elbow tenderness. If my counting skills (diminished after a long night last night) haven't deceived me, Sanchez was eligible to return from the DL yesterday.

Doubtful. Even us Tiger fans haven't heard much about Humberto lately. They'll probably be cautious with him at this point, like they were with Verlander and Zumaya last year.

I think he's overrated. 1 good year, with non-dominating stuff, and then some suspect starts in AAA don't make him a top 5 pitching prospect imo.

Sanchez isn't even close to top 5 to me. I wouldn't even call him a sure thing for top 25 pitching prospect honors in the minors.

I was refering to major league ready pitching talent. He's not close to top 5 pitching prospects overall. He's probably top 10 major league ready SP though but I don't think he'll be better than a #3.
