Put me in the records as saying that like Andy LaRoche - but definitely further down top prospect lists - Eric Duncan is one of the most underrated prospects in the minors right now.

I guess he'll have to shred up AAA like he has AA this season and hit for a higher average in order to move on up around here.

I'm not sure what leads you to expect he's going to hit for a higher average. Sure, if he hits for power like he is at AA (27 XBH in 200 ABs) and can hit for a respectable average, then he definitely deserves to climb up. But he doesn't have a tool that really stands out and can support that pathetic BA. I don't know how you can back a guy who currently projects to have a .200 average as a ML player. That's awful.

I don't think Eric Duncan is really a projectable player right now.

And I know that I'm definitely on the upper end of his band wagon (hopefully some people like his family are higher than me). But given what he has done/gone through the last few years, there should be a healthy amount of difference in how people view him.
