Sorry about that last post. I just wanted to italicize could. Clicked the wrong button and it italicizied and underlined the rest of it. I fixed it though.

I do agree that Gagne is the most dominant closer out there. ;-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

He is the best closer in the game, but his 55 straight saves have not been without blemish. He has lost 3 games this year indicating that he has "blown" 3 saves, but because he lost he didn't get stuck with the stat for the blown save.

WOW! 8-o
The hitter asks the owner to give him a big raise so he can go somewhere he's never been, and the owner says "You mean third base?"

Not true at all. None of those games were in save situations. Here they are:

1. Vs. Atl - Tied 4-4 when he came in.
2. Vs. SF - Tied 2-2 when he came in.
3. Vs. SD - Tied 2-2 when he came in.

He has not had a blemish-free year but he has also not blown a save this year+.
