Didn't he hurt his shoulder? It seems like he has been in and out of the lineup a lot lately.

People go through slumps, especially 19 year olds. Even Albert Pujols struggles now and then.

(And for "that guy" who is going to accuse me of comparing Bruce and Pujols, please, save your breath - I wasn't)

Goog, happy/fun article that mentions Bruce has been playing with a nagging shoulder injury most of the season.

I will compare Bruce to Pujols. I LOVE Bruce.

I was just bored and noticed that he has been scuffling in a major way the last three games (and I do realize he was hurt)

I'd put him a year behind Billy Butler and Alex Gordon, so somewhere between the start and midseason of 2008.

I'd say he may be ready around mid-season 2008, but few players are actually brought up when ready. With the way most prospects work, I'd say a Sept. 2008 call-up and then 2009.

I figure he'll start in A+ next year and play there for a while, and, depending on his successes, he could get moved up to AA. He'll more than likely spend most of, if not all of 2008 in AAA.
