He is scheduled to throw from flat ground this weekend upon approval from the medical staff. You might want to hold off until you hear a report on how the session goes.
My gut feeling is that he's done for the regular season. The twins staff has picked up the slack a little. If they make the post season and if he's healthy he might pitch then.
His injury is not that serious but it could be if not handled with care.
If the news this weekend is anything but stellar don't feel bad about making a change. When making these decisions throughout the season sometimes you're right and sometimes you're wrong - comes with the territory. At this point in the year my philosophy has always been if you are not producing - superstar or not - you're out of here.
