Huston Street leaves w/injury

The Athletics got the best possible news they could have after the MRI of Huston Street. "The strain is very benign," said trainer Larry Davis. "It does not show any significant muscle tearing. Basically what we're dealing with is a slight strain. He does have muscle weakness there."

So if he's on the DL when is he eligible to be back. So I think it's safe to dump Duchsherer?

I read something about Macha saying when and if Harden comes back, he'll be put in the pen and might even be closing games for them. Anyone know anything about this?

Harden's pretty useless right now, but if he comes back as a closer?.....

Strained groins are a "who knows?" kind of injury.... It's gotta be 100 % basically to pitch, so you don't want to rush it. A hitter can waddle out there and play with one slightly hobbled, but a pitcher would be throwing BP if he can't push off the rubber with his leg.
