Napoli - it's early - possible hot streak alert

but another hot streak may be on the way. He skyed an out to left, then just jacked one out to straight center off King Felix, who was motoring along otherwise.

Based on his Minor league record and his limited show time, he's a feast or famine guy, so watch him and be prepared if he's entering a feast period.

That's 2 games now.... He's 1 for 3 tonight so far... one was a sac rbi, the other a BIG 2 out rbi double for the go ahead run in the 6th.

For part of May and June, he was the best hitting catcher in the league. He could be starting a hot streak that makes the difference in a close title run. He was really mashing his last hot streak.

Hmmm, I rode his hot streak, but dropped him for Martin who has been solid... I'm kinda leaning on sticking with Martin, to make sure come playoff time I don't get killed by Napoli going cold again.

THis is an actally..... but....

I actually did dump Ross, mainly because the Dodgers seemed to be giving him a lot if rest lately and I was finding it hard to guess when... even beyond the Toby Hall catching Hendrickson starts..... but... My power hitters have really collectively slumped and I need help there, so I'm hoping, praying, that those two games are the sign that Nappy is waking from his nap and about to go on a tear.... During the slump, Molina played quite a bit so Nappy should be rested too.

During the slump, besides whiffing, there was a lot of pop ups, and the last two games, even on the outs, there was serious contact being made, and his big hits in both games came at crunch time, not when a game was already decided.... He didn't play yesterday but it was a noon game following a late night game, so no surprise.
