I don't recall Hong Kong Phooey, but Sublime actually covered the theme song to that show.

I don't know if this was brought up yet, but I'm disappointed that we forgot Ghostbusters.

Do you remember there was a reject Ghostbuster's show, aside from what was called the "real" ghostbusters, like the movie?

I guess it featured a monkey... I remember there was a very elaborate transformation process in being a ghostbuster... like they got shot with lasers and got caught in webs and stuff. It was so weird.

And it's the good Japanese version instead of the blue-blooded American version. Now I recall why Americans would be so sensitive about this cartoon, there is a whole lot of blood and violence involved.

Everything is in Japanese, I understand about 5 words in Japanese. But I can recall some of the storyline from my childhood and you can pretty much guess what is happening.
