Sheff or Matsui?

Which DL'd yankee is expected back sooner ... originally it was matsui by 2 weeks but it seems like his progress has stalled, and there hasn't been much word on an expected date of return for sheff.

Matsui seems to be further along than Sheffield and will probably be a better pick even if they came back at the same time.

IF they came back at the same time, why would matsui still be a better pick? sheff is the better hitter and they're returning from similar injuries.

i would think matsui..

but im really not sure how either of them will respond do their injury.. definetly dont think their gonna put even close to the numbers that they would be expected to put up if they werent injured from when they come back till the end of the season
