Owners in my NL-only league are annoyed Hirsh is not in the yahoo data base. He's been playing for more than a week. What gives?

CBS has a superior data base for players and prospects.

And I'm not even satisfied with CBS. They are getting better, though. Now if they could only get some writers.

CBS does have a better database of players, but everything else lacks to Yahoo IMO. Especially navagating for free agents. My league decided to try CBS this year and none of us like it... maybe we are just used to Yahoo.

It takes about 2 years to convert a yahoo person to CBS from my experience.

Most Yahoo people want to see a vastly superior product if they are going to pay. But they tend to be so used to simplistic statistical anylsis tools that it takes them a while to realize all the benefits of CBS.

CBS is also pretty cool if you have any aspiring writers in your league. I love posting articles for my fantasy league and it's pretty easy to put them up (with a picture) on CBS.

Yahoo is weird about adding players in this is no surprise that they took so long to add him. I remember last year, Craig Hansen was a September callup, but was never even added before the season ended. That's a concern I have with a couple of possible September callups I'm looking at adding in a Dynasty league as stashing material for the future.

But Hirsh was just added today, so go get him.
