Outings like this will take him completely out of the running for the Cy Young. His exact era right now is 3.90. That's too high for a Cy Young winner.

Halladay's at 3.423 .....not too far behind Ortiz. One horrible outing away from an ERA of 4. Not sure his current ERA is good enough to win the CY...

Both of the Cy Young awards will probably come down to the wire. No clear favorites right now. Personally, I'm leaning toward Gagne and Loaiza right now, but there is still time for those picks to change. Gotta give some props to Halladay for pitching 10 innings a couple of days ago. That doesn't happen these days.

Thank god his ERA is that high now, b/c as usual Madison, you're right about him possibly still winning the Cy Young with a bad ERA, but most likely not with one this bad.
