That's what we told him too. Glad we agree on that. We just couldn't see benching Giambi, so everyone agreed that Renteria was the best choice to bench.

I definitely agree that he should play Giambia over Renteria. I would just play Huff over Giambi -- if that was the choice.
Oh well..sometimes you just have to excuse my Huff tirades. I can't believe that he doesn't get a lot more respect. Hitting over .300, with 100+ RBIs, and 30 HRs is a MAJOR accomplishment on that team. Stick him on a contender and he's an ELITE player.

I was actually very surprised at his numbers when I picked him up; aside from the average and steals, they are uniformly as good or better than Magglio's, for example. And he plays two (real) positions. Pretty good guy to have, and cursed by being on a bad team.

No problem. Huff has had a very nice season and has gotten a lot of people's attention for next season. Underrated does help him fall a few rounds in the draft which never hurts for people who know what he's worth.
