OK, so my Firefox just shut down randomly. When I re-started it, it came up with a box telling me to change my user from "Default", or it won't open Firefox. So I change it, and now all my bookmarks are gone.

Also, I downloaded the new Firefox and for God knows what reason, it has no scroll bar on the right. Anyone else have this issue??
You have to open the Profile Manager and switch your user back to the one you were using. It's different on different operating systems, so go to the Mozilla help site and they'll show you what to do.

No idea about the scroll bar, though.
Yeah that's a common problem with Firefox. Sometimes it will try and run the program twice, and the 2nd time you can't use the same profile.

Yes, that has happened to me once too and pretty much did the same thing, but in my case, my firewall prompted me that the Firefox executable was accessing the Net, and accidentally disallowed access. So, knowing my mistake, I allowed Firefox to run, but it switched to "default" when I ran it and I did the same thing you did. This was a long while back, and so, I didn't remember the procedure all the way through.
