He's just been dropped in my league. I like him b/c of his solid numbers and because he's 2b/ss/3b eligible and I could use a good utility guy like that to fill in for my regulars on off days.
Any input on him? Anyone hear anything about injuries/lack of playing time? Thanks again
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I would do that quickly. Loretta is batting #2 in a good run-scoring order, is eligible at several positions like you said, and has a .320+ average last I checked. Good pickup.

I have Loretta on my team and I've been really satisfied with him too. He sat out the last two or three games with a sore thumb. He should be back in the lineup soon though. (He's listed day to day)
Loretta has been a good pickup for a while. He's nothing more than a bench player in most leagues, since he doesn't get many HR's or SB's, but his high average, and decent runs and RBI totals make him a great backup for several positions. I have him in 2 of 3 leagues.
Loretta has been a great factor in my move from the bottom of the standings to near the top. After my drafted infielders of Roberto Alomar, Jose Hernandez, and Edgardo Alfonzo dragged me down, I had to cut my losses and take what was out there, which wasn't much. But Loretta has provided consistent high average and a little pop now and then, and his position eligibility enabled me to move him around - always in the lineup, but playing at the position of the least-hot other infielder I had. At this point, he's my only SS-eligible, so I'm not moving him around any more, but I don't see a lot of other SS of his quality available.
